For the last week, Topps has been making special announcements in anticipation for the launch of 2012 Topps Baseball Series 1.

Topps has created 3 special GOLD –themed relic sets with each card featuring a unique piece that truly brings the card and this Golden celebration to life.
*GOLDEN GREAT COIN CARDS -- Features 15 different legends with an actual coin embedded into the player’s card. These limited pieces are sequentially numbered to the player’s jersey number. Includes the likes Of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Jackie Robinson.
*GOLDEN RETIRED RING CARDS – These beautiful cards show off the tops of snazzy golden rings. Each ring is engraved with a legendary player’s jersey number that has been retired. Look for Cal Ripken, Jr., Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays.

THE COUNTDOWN TO 2012 TOPPS BASEBALL SERIES 1 CONTINUES
With 8 days left until the launch of 2012 Topps Series 1, collectors are readying for a GOLD RUSH!
The over-riding theme in 2012 Topps Baseball is “GOLD” with The Golden Giveaway, Golden Moments inserts, real Gold cards and more! And Topps is offering collectors a special wrapper redemption to celebrate.
Collectors sending in 50 HOBBY wrappers (or 14 HTA Jumbo wrappers) of 2012 Topps Baseball will receive a 5-card cello pack of exclusive GOLD RUSH cards (image attached). There are 50 cards to collect in all. In addition, bonus autographed cards have been randomly inserted into packs and feature the likes of Willie Mays, Adrian Gonzalez, Sandy Koufax, Nelson Cruz, Albert Pujols, Albert Belle and Dennis Eckersley…just to name a few.
The exclusive wrapper redemption program will be available only for the month of February. Packaged wrappers sent to Topps must be post marked no later than February 29th, 2012…so start ripping packs and send those wrappers in!

Topps Captures Tebow Mania Today, the much-anticipated Topps Supreme Football releases and it features autographed cards from one of the hottest players in the game…Tim Tebow.

2011-12 Upper Deck Series One Hockey Arrives This Week Company’s flagship brand features a new crop of “Young Gun” rookie cards and much more! Carlsbad, CA (November 8, 2011) – Some of the most popular NHL® rookie cards of the season will be released this week when 2011-12 NHL Upper Deck Series One lands in stores. Collectors can find “Young Guns” rookie cards spotlighting up-and-comers like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Edmonton), Gabriel Landeskog (Colorado), Cody Hodgson (Vancouver), Sean Couturier (Philadelphia) and Mark Scheifele (Winnipeg) to name a few. “A rookie is just not a rookie until they have an Upper Deck ‘Young Gun’ card produced of them,” said Josh Zusman, Upper Deck’s Hockey brand manager. “This year’s rookie crop is performing really well to start off the season so we are excited to see they are living up to the hype. We think fans will jump at the chance to own rookie cards of these future stars.”There are more than just rookies to be found in 2011-12 NHL Upper Deck Series One however. The release will be loaded with autograph cards, memorabilia cards and other unique inserts that will excite hockey fans. A new insert set in the product is “Honored Members” which pays tribute to Hall-of-Fame legends on a unique acetate card, giving it the look of plaques found in the Hall. Another new addition are the UD Canvas cards that have the look and feel of a painted card.Upper Deck’s hockey team has worked hard to re-imagine the popular “Heroes” insert series. This season the insert set has been expanded to showcase a variety of hockey greats from the 1950’s. There is also an autographed version of these cards that are limited to just fifteen copies each. Additionally there is one very rare painted autograph card in the set that features autographs of Brett Hull, Andy Bathgate and Gordie Howe numbered to just ten copies.
Additionally, Upper Deck was able to secure all the autograph cards prior to launch so the set will release with zero redemption exchange cards in packs. Upper Deck’s 2011-12 Series One Hockey packs hold eight cards in every pack and 24 packs per box. The product is available in stores now.

Topps Unveils Improved Customer Service Option
Topps announces a new option to help simplify and expedite the replacement of missing cards from boxes.
Beginning immediately, any customer failling to receive a card within the stated odds printed on its respective packaging can now contact Topps Customer Service electronically for replacements, eliminating the need to mail items in.
Customers can email Support@Topps.com and include their name and address, along with digital pictures in PDF format. The image must include the UPC symbol from the box with either an “X” or hole punched through the center, the wrapper from the pack with the missing card and a copy of the store receipt proving the purchase. Once Topps receives the email and confirms, it will expedite the process and ship the missing item(s).
